Today, the team continued to paint murals, while I had one concern: that I will be absent for the session. Because I was the one who planned and ordered all the things, I discovered that the team would be lost if I was absent for the whole session. But at the same time, I was absent because of my SAT exam, and I couldn’t skip SAT for a single session.
Much to my relief, our service coordinator came to help, and lead the team instead of me. He also brought some aluminum cans from his home, which were all very useful. He also lead the session very well, so I did not have to worry about it at all. Obviously, I was very thankful, but I also learned something new: that I must prepare so that the team still can operate without me. I made some guidelines for them to follow in case I am not here:
1. Check if there is anything delivered to us
2. Continue what we were doing last time
3. If there is anything necessary or lacking, call me ASAP. But if I cannot answer, try to buy them from the nearest supermarket.
4. End the session at 11:30. After the session is over, remember to clean up what we had done and also clean up the storage room.
Although whether these plans would be efficient and feasible is a different story, I believe that this is the way to perfect our project.
